Hi all, we just through an event at 7070 Santa Monica Blvd. The contact that we had to deal with from the site, his name is MORGAN, tried to extort money from our group. He threatened to not let us have our equipment and kick us all out using his security unless we paid him more money. We had ALREADY paid the agreed amount for the site. He had been admittedly up for 72 hours. MORGAN would ramble on and on about truly insane topics. We asked him if we could move a couch and his response was, "I am the government." Every encounter with him added a half an hour to your task. We had to call the police at the end of our event and we eventually got ALL of OUR stuff out. He wasn't letting us get our KEYS and WALLETs out. It was insanity in the very clinical sense. Beware of renting or doing ANYTHING with 7070 Santa Monica.
